Privacy policy in accordance with the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and the Data Protection Act (DSG)<\/p>

Data processing
<\/strong>Personal data that you have provided to us via a website or email will only be processed for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you have provided us with your data. The data provided will only be forwarded to the relevant department within the company.\nWe assure you that your personal data will not be passed on to third parties unless required by law.<\/p>

Data storage
<\/strong>The data provided to us will only be stored until the purpose for which it was entrusted to us has been fulfilled. If statutory retention periods must be observed, these will be complied with.
If you no longer agree to the storage of your personal data, we will delete the stored data at your request. If your personal data has changed, we will correct it after you have informed us.<\/p>

Personal data
<\/strong>We, HUBER|Lawfirm or Dr. Andreas Huber, collect, process, and use your personal data only with your consent or mandate or order for the purposes agreed with you or if there is another legal basis in accordance with the GDPR; this is done in compliance with data protection and civil law provisions.\nOnly personal data that is necessary for the performance and processing of our legal services or that you have voluntarily provided to us will be collected.

Personal data is any data that contains individual details about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, age, gender, social security number, video recordings, photos, voice recordings of persons, and biometric data such as fingerprints. Sensitive data, such as health data or data related to criminal proceedings, may also be included.\nData processing in the course of the client relationship also includes personal data of potential opponents, co-involved persons, and informants. According to Art. 14 (5) GDPR, there is no obligation to inform this group of persons about the processing.<\/p>

Information and deletion
<\/strong>As a client (including contact persons) or, in general, as a data subject, you have the right at any time \u2013 subject to the attorney-client privilege \u2013 to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing, as well as the right to correction, data transfer, object, restrict processing, and block or delete incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.\nIf there are any changes to your personal data, please notify us accordingly.\nYou have the right to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time. Your request for information, deletion, correction, objection, and\/or data transfer, in the latter case provided that this does not involve disproportionate effort, can be sent to the address of the law firm listed in section 11 of this statement.\nIf you believe that our processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the Data Protection Authority is responsible for this.<\/p>

Data security
<\/strong>Your personal data is protected by appropriate organizational and technical measures. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, unlawful, or accidental access, processing, loss, use, and manipulation.\nDespite our efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence, it cannot be ruled out that information you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons.

Please note that we therefore accept no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission and\/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g., hacking of email accounts or telephones, interception of faxes) that are not caused by us.<\/p>

Use of data
<\/strong>We will not process the data provided to us for purposes other than those covered by the client agreement or by your consent or otherwise by a provision in accordance with the GDPR. This does not apply to use for statistical purposes, provided that the data provided has been anonymized.<\/p>

Transfer of data to third parties
<\/strong>In order to fulfill your order, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g., opposing parties, substitutes, insurance companies, service providers we use and to whom we provide data, etc.), courts, or authorities. Our contract data processors, i.e., IT service providers, providers of data management systems for legal software, including cloud solutions, process your data in accordance with our specifications. Your data will only be forwarded on the basis of the GDPR, in particular to fulfill your order or on the basis of your prior consent.\nFurthermore, we inform you that, within the scope of our legal representation and support, factual and case-related information about you is also regularly obtained from third parties.

Some of the above-mentioned recipients of your personal data are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be the same as in Austria. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the EU Commission has decided that they have an adequate level of data protection, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection, for which we conclude standard contractual clauses (2010\/87\/EC and\/or 2004\/915\/EC).<\/p>

Disclosure of data breaches
<\/strong>We endeavor to ensure that data breaches are detected at an early stage and, if necessary, reported to you or the competent supervisory authority without delay, including the respective data categories that are affected.<\/p>

Data retention
